Some kind words from our clients

Josie

"Working with Naomi has been truly life-changing. For the first time, I felt heard and understood, like what I was feeling made sense and was okay. Naomi's honest, compassionate, and direct approach helped me admit to myself and others that I wasn’t okay, and that it was safe to ask for support. I always felt listened to and held in a really supportive way. Dougal, her therapy dog, is also a total star - such a calming, gentle presence. I’ll always be deeply grateful they made one of the hardest experiences feel possible"

Kathy

"For years, I battled severe anorexia nervosa that led to repeated hospital admissions and left me feeling utterly hopeless. I truly believed recovery wasn’t possible for someone like me. But through therapy with Naomi, something began to shift. With her support, I was not only able to restore weight but also regain my periods - something I never thought would happen. And most incredibly, I went on to have a healthy baby girl. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and support - after years of not being listened to and feeling at such a loss with life, I am finally happy and have a thriving little mini me!"

“Throughout my time of receiving therapy with Naomi for my eating disorder I’ve built an amazing therapeutic relationship where I have felt heard, supported and challenged. Naomi has made our sessions a safe space where I

can talk freely about my eating disorder and unpick some of the thoughts.

The wealth of knowledge Naomi has is incredible and sometimes I think she knows my eating disorder better than me! She really listens to what my goals of recovery are and we work together on what we can do to achieve these.

Naomi has been one of my biggest cheerleaders and I cannot thank and recommend her enough.”

"When I first contacted Wildflower Hill Therapy, my son was struggling enormously with ARFID. Alongside this, he also suffers from acid reflux and abdominal migraines, which can make eating even more challenging. He was underweight, ate only a very limited range of foods, and mealtimes were often stressful for the whole family. Over the last 21 months, Dannii has helped him build confidence around food in a way I never thought possible. He now tries new foods, textures, and flavours, and has added so much more variety to his diet. While not every food becomes a favourite, he is willing to give things a go, which is something we once thought we’d never see. We initially had sessions every two weeks, but as his confidence and relationship with food have improved, we now see Dannii monthly. One of the biggest changes has been to our family life is that we can now go out for meals without having to take a lunchbox of safe foods, and he is able to choose something from a menu himself. Those moments mean so much to us. As a parent, Dannii’s support has been invaluable. She has taken a huge amount of pressure off me, helping me understand how best to support him while giving him a space to grow in confidence and feel proud of his achievements. I honestly can’t thank Dannii enough for the difference she has made to our lives and would highly recommend her to any family affected by ARFID."

"Working with Naomi has been life-changing. I struggled with Body Dysmorphic Disorder for years, often in denial, and unsure where to turn. Like so many people, I spent years in other forms of therapy trying to uncover the root cause, but what I really needed was to change my behaviours in the present. That was what was truly holding me back. Naomi’s approach helped me face and change the behaviours that were keeping me stuck, especially the avoidance and checking habits that had become part of my daily life. We worked together to gradually shift some deeply ingrained thought patterns and mental loops that I didn’t even realise were fueling the problem. It wasn’t easy, but it was the first time something actually started to work. If you’re feeling lost or alone with this, know that it can get better. Naomi and her practice are where you want to be. I am incredibly grateful."

"Kate is a warm, caring and so professional, I actually find myself thinking a lot more about my thought process since I’ve been seeing Kate, I was so nervous about meeting someone new, as were my adult children as I’ve been in the system for years with no support. Having Kate’s support has been an incredible gift, helping me to do all I can to change the way I see myself and the way I think about things.
I am definitely gaining from the support from Kate. I’ve a long way to go, but I am taking the challenge head on and, with Kate’s support, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Before I started seeing Kate, I couldn’t even see the tunnel, let alone the end of it. I would totally recommend anyone to spend time with Kate. She makes you feel safe and heard and is great at giving homework (which I do). I’m willing to face this head on and, with Kate’s constant support,
I feel hope."
