About WILDFLOWER Hill
At Wildflower Hill Therapy, we believe that recovery from an eating disorder or any struggle with food and body image deserves expert care, thoughtful support, and treatment that honours the whole person.
Our practice was founded in response to a growing need. While the NHS provides vital care, increasing demand and limited resources mean many people face long waits or are unable to access support unless they meet strict diagnostic criteria. We wanted to create a space where all forms of disordered eating are taken seriously, and anyone struggling feels seen, heard, and supported. Whether you are living with a diagnosed eating disorder, feeling stuck in cycles of binge eating or restriction, battling with body image, or feeling exhausted by years of yo-yo dieting, your experience matters, and you deserve support.
Wildflower Hill Therapy is not just for those with eating difficulties. Alongside our specialist eating disorder work, we also offer standalone support for a wide range of mental health concerns. Our therapists are CBT specialists, trained to postgraduate level and fully accredited, delivering evidence-based therapy for difficulties such as anxiety, depression, OCD, body dysmorphic disorder, low self-esteem, PTSD, phobias, and more. Whether or not your struggles involve food or body image, you are welcome here.
We’re proud to offer a private therapy service that doesn’t compromise on clinical quality,
compassion, or integrity.

What MAKES US Different

Specialist Expertise
Before Wildflower Hill Therapy, there was a noticeable gap in private care: while many therapists offered support for eating disorders, few had the depth of training or specialist experience required to work safely and effectively in this area. All of our therapists are professionally accredited and have extensive experience delivering NICE-recommended treatments for eating disorders within the NHS. We bring expert knowledge of both the emotional and physical complexities of these conditions, offering evidence-based, compassionate care from the very first session. Importantly, we don’t require a formal diagnosis to offer support, even if you’ve been told you are “not unwell enough” elsewhere. If it’s affecting your quality of life, it matters to us.

Holistic Support for Co-Existing Difficulties
In traditional systems, mental health care is often fragmented, one service for eating disorders, another for anxiety, and another for trauma. This can leave people feeling like they’re being passed around, or like important parts of their experience are overlooked. Our therapists are not only eating disorder specialists, but also highly trained in treating a wide range of mental health concerns. Because we are all CBT specialists, we can offer evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), low self-esteem and PTSD - alongside work on eating difficulties. We know these experiences often overlap, and we don’t believe you should have to wait or move between services to get the support you need. Our integrated, whole-person approach allows us to respond to your mental health as a whole, not just one part of it.

Safe and Skilled Risk Management
Eating disorders can carry serious physical and psychological risks, and it’s essential that any therapist working in this area understands how to identify and manage them. At Wildflower Hill Therapy, every therapist has significant NHS experience and is confident in assessing and responding to risk. We understand the potential complications of eating disorders and we know when and how to act. Even when someone doesn’t meet formal criteria for an eating disorder, disordered eating can still be physically and emotionally harmful. We are here to support clients safely and compassionately, no matter where they are in their journey.

Truly Individualised Treatment
No two people experience an eating disorder, or disordered eating, in the same way, and no two recoveries look alike. Our therapists are trained in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, allowing us to tailor your treatment to your unique needs, goals, and preferences. Unlike manualised approaches with fixed time limits, we offer flexibility - so therapy can move at a pace that works for you, using methods that genuinely fit. Whether that includes CBT-E, MANTRA, DBT-informed work, or something else entirely, our aim is always to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and meaningful.
