Hello
As a CBT Therapist & Eating Disorder Specialist at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I work with individuals experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety disorders, low mood, specific phobias, low self-esteem, OCD, PTSD, and eating disorders. I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and have practised CBT since 2021. I have a particular interest in, and specialist experience with, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and I have supported many people to make meaningful, lasting changes by increasing flexibility with food, reducing anxiety around eating, and building confidence in a wider range of situations.

My Bio & Approach
Specialisms: ARFID, Generalised Anxiety, Low Mood, Specific Phobias, Low Self-Esteem, Social Anxiety
Health Anxiety, OCD, PTSD
Before qualifying as a CBT therapist, I worked as a registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC) in hospital-based mental health teams from 2019, which gave me a strong grounding in compassionate, person-centred care and a practical understanding of how psychological difficulties impact day-to-day functioning.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked for the NHS as a Psychological Therapist within a Specialist Eating Disorder service, where I provided evidence-based therapies including CBT-E and MANTRA for both adolescents and adults with Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. Within this role, I developed significant specialist expertise in ARFID and led on a pilot NHS ARFID pathway, delivering CBT-AR to individuals with complex and longstanding presentations. I also supported the development of this pathway by supervising other clinicians and contributing to service design and training.
My experience in this area has given me a deep understanding of the complexity of ARFID presentations, including sensory sensitivities, fear-based avoidance, and restrictive eating patterns that can significantly affect both physical health and quality of life. I am passionate about supporting individuals to make gradual, sustainable changes that feel safe, structured, and achievable.
In my private practice, I offer online, medium-term CBT-informed therapy. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-focused. I aim to help you understand your difficulties, explore the factors maintaining them, and support you in making effective, lasting change.
You can expect a non-judgemental and compassionate space where we’ll work together to set goals that are meaningful to you. I believe in empowering people with the tools and understanding they need to become their own therapist, so that over time, you feel confident, capable, and ready to move forward independently.
