Hello

As an Associate Psychological Practitioner at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I am passionate about helping individuals build a more compassionate and balanced relationship with food, movement, and themselves. I aim to create a warm, safe and collaborative space where clients feel understood, supported and empowered in their recovery. I hold a BSc (Hons) in
Psychology alongside a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling (CPCAB) and bring over five years of experience working across NHS, charity and private inpatient mental health services.
For the last 3 years, I have specialised in eating disorders within the NHS, delivering NICE-recommended treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-T) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). I have experience supporting individuals with restrictive eating difficulties, binge eating and bulimia. Alongside this, I facilitate a Self-Compassion group, helping individuals explore why self-kindness can feel difficult whilst developing healthier coping strategies. Compassion sits at the heart of my work, alongside sincerity, humour and encouragement.

My Bio & Approach

Specialisms: Eating Disorders, Binge Eating, Bulimia, Restrictive Eating Difficulties, Body Image Issues, Emotional Eating, Anxiety, Depression & Low Self-Esteem.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate and down-to-earth. I believe recovery works best when people feel safe enough to be honest about their struggles without fear of judgement. I aim to meet people where they are in recovery, gently encouraging meaningful and sustainable change. I draw upon evidence-based approaches including CBT-T, SSCM and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), helping clients better understand their eating difficulties whilst building emotional regulation skills, resilience and self-trust. My wider mental health experience also allows me to work holistically, recognising how eating disorders can exist alongside difficulties such as anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I aim to help clients make sense of these experiences, whilst developing new ways of coping that feel empowering and sustainable.

I believe nutrition support should feel collaborative rather than prescriptive, helping food become nourishing, flexible and enjoyable again. I draw upon frameworks such as RAVES and the REAL Food Guide to support clients in rebuilding a healthier relationship with eating in a realistic and achievable way.

Outside of my work, running plays an important role in my wellbeing, and I am particularly passionate about helping others develop a healthier relationship with exercise and movement. Eating disorders can take away so much - joy, confidence and freedom - and I deeply believe recovery can help people reconnect with both themselves and the parts of life that matter most to them.
