Hello

As an Associate Psychological Practitioner at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I bring over six years
of experience across eating disorder and mental health services, including child inpatient
and adult community settings. For the past four years, I have worked within a Specialist NHS
Eating Disorder Service, supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of eating
difficulties through compassionate, person-centred care. I also have extensive experience
supporting adolescents and families, including through the FREED pathway.

I am passionate about helping people build a meaningful life beyond their eating disorder, recognising that recovery is about more than changing eating behaviours - it is about reconnecting with your values, identity, relationships and the things that bring purpose and fulfilment to your life.

My Bio & Approach

Specialisms: Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Atypical Anorexia, Adolescents, Neurodiversity, ADHD, Gender Identity and LGBTQ+ Mental Health

I have undertaken training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and also draw upon principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I have a particular interest in the relationship between neurodiversity and eating disorders, and strive to adapt my approach to meet each persons unique strengths and needs.

I hold an MSc in Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, which have shaped my commitment to ethical practice, advocacy and collaborative decision-making. My postgraduate research focused on gender identity, and I am committed to creating inclusive spaces where people feel respected.

My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative and non-judgmental. I believe therapeutic work is most effective when there is a shared understanding of the challenges someone is facing and when people feel genuinely heard, understood and supported. I have a particular interest in incorporating creativity into recovery, using outlets such as art, writing and music where appropriate. I aim to create an inclusive, hopeful and client- centred space where we can work together to navigate difficult emotions, build resilience and move towards meaningful and lasting change.

Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, difficulties with food, neurodiversity, or challenges related to identity and self-esteem, I will work alongside you to develop an approach that feels supportive, empowering and tailored to your individual goals.
