Hello
As a CBT/Psychological Therapist & Eating Disorder Specialist at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I bring over a decade of experience in NHS mental health services, including the past six years in a Specialist NHS Eating Disorder Service. I am a fully qualified and BABCP- accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, offering evidence-based treatment for a range of eating disorders and co-occurring psychological difficulties. I am passionate about helping people move beyond the restrictions of an eating disorder and towards a life that feels more flexible,
meaningful, and sustainable.

My Bio & Approach
Specialisms: Eating Disorders, OCD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Low Self-Esteem
In my NHS role, I provide one-to-one psychological therapy and facilitate group-based treatment programmes for individuals with eating disorders. I am experienced in delivering several NICE-recommended interventions, including CBT-E, CBT-T, the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa for Adults (MANTRA), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). My approach is grounded in these evidence-based models, while always adapting treatment to each person’s individual needs, goals, and stage of recovery.
I also have a special interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help individuals gradually face feared situations and reduce the impact of compulsive behaviours. Alongside this, I integrate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting clients to relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while moving towards what matters most to them.
Before specialising in eating disorders, I worked in adult mental health services, supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, and emotional regulation difficulties. This wider experience allows me to hold a flexible, whole-person understanding of the difficulties clients may be experiencing and how these often interact with eating difficulties.
I also have a background in music and previously ran music-based community interventions, including “Singing for the Brain” groups for individuals living with dementia. This continues to shape my belief in the importance of creativity, connection, and expression in psychological wellbeing.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity and respect. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and gently challenged, with therapy tailored to their individual needs and pace.
