Hello
As a Clinical Psychologist at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I am passionate about offering specialist, compassionate care in a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood and supported.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and have worked in psychological services since 2018, with experience across a range of specialist mental health settings, with a particular focus on eating disorders. I currently work within the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist, in addition to my role at Wildflower Hill Therapy.
I am also a Level 1 and Level 2 EMDR therapist and have experience supporting individuals across a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My clinical work has primarily been within specialist eating disorder services, whilst also supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional intensity, trauma, relationship difficulties and wider mental health challenges. I have worked across a variety of settings with adolescents, young adults and older adults, and value taking a client-centred and inclusive approach that recognises the unique experiences, identities and challenges that each person brings.

My Bio & Approach
Specialisms: All Eating Disorders and Eating Difficulties, Trauma, Low Mood, Anxiety, Emotional Intensity, Relationship Difficulties, Sexual Health Related Difficulties
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate and non-judgmental. I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult and vulnerable, and I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to openly explore their experiences without fear of criticism or shame. Building a shared understanding of your difficulties feels particularly important to me, creating space to make sense of not only what is happening, but also why these patterns may have developed and what might help moving forward.
I primarily draw upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), whilst integrating a range of evidence-based approaches to best suit each persons individual needs and goals. This includes Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness approaches and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
I also have specialist experience using CBT and MANTRA in supporting individuals with eating difficulties and am trained in EMDR to support individuals experiencing the impact of trauma.
I deeply believe that recovery is about more than reducing symptoms - it is about developing greater self-understanding, building self-compassion and creating lasting changes that help people move towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life. In my practice,
although I work primarily with individuals I am passionate about offering clients space to consider systemic issues; such as how societal, cultural, and political influences might impact ones sense of self and identity.
I aim to offer a hopeful space where we can work together to build on strengths, overcome difficulties and move towards the life you want to live.
