Hello

As a CBT Therapist & Eating Disorder Specialist at Wildflower Hill Therapy, I bring six years of experience in a specialist NHS Eating Disorder Service, along with previous experience in adult mental health services. I am a fully qualified and BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, offering evidence-based treatment for a range of eating disorders and co-occurring mental health difficulties. I am passionate about helping people move beyond the restrictions of an eating disorder and towards a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling.

My Bio & Approach

Specialisms: Eating Disorders, Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Anxiety Disorders, Low Mood & Depression.

In my NHS role, I provide one-to-one psychological therapy and facilitate specialist group programmes for individuals with Binge Eating Disorder. I am experienced in delivering several NICE-recommended treatments for eating disorders, including CBT-E,

CBT-T, the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa for Adults (MANTRA), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). My work is grounded in these evidence-based approaches, whilst always tailoring treatment to each persons individual needs, goals, and stage of recovery.

Alongside providing therapy, I have extensive experience working with complex clinical presentations and supporting individuals where risk management forms an important part of treatment. I work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure care is safe, holistic, and responsive, recognising that recovery often involves addressing emotional wellbeing alongside practical challenges.

Before specialising in eating disorders, I worked in adult mental health services, where I gained valuable experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and emotional regulation difficulties. This broader mental health background allows me to work flexibly and understand the wider context in which eating disorders often develop and are maintained.

Alongside my clinical work, I play an active role in supporting the development of Wildflower Hill Therapy, working closely with the founder to help shape and grow the practice. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care and helping
ensure every client receives the support that is right for them.

My therapeutic style is warm, holistic, and collaborative. I truly believe that meaningful change happens in the context of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, and I work flexibly to adapt to each clients unique needs, preferences, and goals. Whether you are
struggling with eating difficulties, emotional distress, or both, I aim to create a supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the confidence and skills to make lasting change.
